Racial Justice

We look at racist systems that target the global majority, especially Black people. These systems were born out of America’s racialization of people and establishing the “white” race as the superior race. These same systems have also worked to establish a permanent underclass in which the global majority, especially Black people are at the bottom and are treated as inferior and in many cases less than human. This is a contradiction to all of our faith texts and traditions.
