Faith in New Jersey is seeking a Volunteer Communications Manager to support the branding, messaging and social media of the organization.
Faith in New Jersey is a network of clergy and congregations working with our allies to advance a racial, immigration and economic justice agenda across the state. Faith in NJ is an affiliate of the Faith In Action (formerly PICO National Network) the largest network of faith-based community organizing federations in the country.
Responsibilities

Website updates
-
Social media calendar
-
Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks

Writing and editing press releases

Preparing marketing materials for community leaders
Qualifications:

Proficient in Photoshop and iMovie (or similar movie editing program)

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Disciplined and able to work effectively independently

Ability to develop and cultivate media relationships

In-depth knowledge with social media Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc…
Part- time, 15-20 hours per week.
